Interesting Choice

Alright, so I was bored and had some free time... So I went on my alliance server (prebc)... and found an NPC named Keeg Gibn. This got me interested to see what other names blizzard put out for their npcs...

Keeg Gibn - "nBig Geek"


Algernon(test experiment) & Doctor - from Flowers of Algernon [RIP ]
** Weird thing about this is... on this toon I accidently pressed the BE racial aoe... and a rift spawn pwned my toon**


Odesyus - "Odysseus" a Greek God/Hero who roamed the seas and was stuck with Calypso. Also had the ability to transform to an old man.


Cookie McWeakSauce - A cooking trainer... Idk I guess its a mcdonalds + cooking joke? o.O


One that I LOL'D at... Might just be my weird sense of humor...

Haris Pilton - "Paris Hilton" rich dumb(sry) white girl. Who just happens to own rings and a Gigantique bag, in-game... rofl...


Well anyways... these are just some of the NPCs with interesting names in-game. *Theres also Jepetto - "Geppetto" creator of Pinochio and is a toymaker in-game*. Interesting choice of names Blizzard.

I always lol at some of the names blizz picks for their npcs... I have found many many hidden references in-game

there are thousands.. thanks for sharing these... all of them accept the paris hilton one were cool (only because I think that one of very obvious)

The town Halgrind in Howling Fjord is a tribute to Helgrind from the Eragon series it seems. Also there is MacGuyver a gnome in the small camp by UK and UP.

I'm sorry, and I don't want to sound like an ass...but the large majority of NPC's, items, etc....are references to something else. I would *really* like to see the exploration section cleaned up. Working on my own little project right now TBH.

Not sure if It has been posted b4 but if you have the eye of Shadow on near Haris Pilton ur can see Ricole Nichie, I have a pic but can't post pics yet, she is /rasp'n Haris thought it was pretty funny
