Was bored waiting for wotlk, here's a guide on how to get on top of org with latest patch.

This is not a repost that Im aware of because it does not require rocketboots, you just need slowfall and a mount.


You need to know how to wallwalk .

Go here on the map.


Ride up this spine to the x


Here's the x , use the tree as a reference point. Start your wallwalking here


Here's the wallwalking path you take, takes like 5 minutes. Zig -Zag wallwalk and stay as high as you can.


You can stop at x and just walk/mount up rest of the spine regularly


Jump spot, make sure to mount +jump+safefall


If your good you can land on poles

what can shamyms use to slow fall? is there anythign that can make u fall slower?

spam noggenfoger, it should work to maintain as-long-as-you-want slowfall i think, if you don't get rly unlucky. Parachute cloak is a good backup to have in that case but only engineers can use it and it also doesn't last long.

You can also use the sketti rep cloak , its go 10 seconds of slow fall, easy as pie to get, Skyguard's Drape - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft

or reroll a priest or mage


Btw I went back and you can continue around the corner from where I jumped and get to an even higher spot.

From there you get a great view of massive arch in deathsomething gorge and looks possible to get to, or jump back towrds org and you can land on top of the tower roof.

There is another way to get up to orgrimmar, its close to your spot but instead of the tower you land (and can walk freely) at the mountain to your right. : ) that way you can get to the orgrimmar gate.

On the orgrimmar gate you can wallwalk "under" orgrimmar and end up in the arena-roof (where thrall fights with hellscream)

you can still jump on top of zeps though if you go on that land part though it takes some skillful timing because its a moving target, pro's only!

AH my bad, ment getting the "underview" of orgrimmar, but you wallwalk on higher grounds.

anyway +rep to you, I used your startingpad to get to towers (since mine was a bit on lower grounds).
On my second try I tried to get a new landingpad, landed on the left tower, and from there... I could go wherever I wanted ontop of orgrimmars canyon-tops.. or ah.

No, wallwalking is new since 3.0

Before 3.0 this was only possible with rocketboots.

obviously this was also possible way back when walljumping existed.


btw nice one ducttape ill rep you, thats the old walljump path, gj though.

Tried your path but I always get stuck at the big hump by the tree. Tried for like 10 mins to get past it then gave up. Imanewbatwallwalkin.

oh you need to hold down forward key all time when wallwalking, you cannot fall if you hold it down.

On side note My friend was having same problem as you and he realized it was his keyboard! His keyboard would not let him hold any buttons down for more than 20 seconds at a time

You mean your wall walking and you just fall right?

His solution was to use multiple keys so one was never being pressed for more than 15seconds, luckily my keyboard doesn't have this I can hold a button down for hours, lol.
