Uncharted Silithus lands. AQ20/40/Flying Mounts

few screenshots. i shouldve took more but i wasnt on my computer. eventually we found out that if u summon ppl while in outlands on their flying mount u can fly around and i ended up in cthuns room after flying around for a bit.

ill make a video if anyone cares. it probably was the funnest discovery ive made with my friends and it actually had stuff to see from aq20 to aq40 stuff.


rocket boots and parachute cloak/noggin/slowfall were used. dont know anyother way around that to get here.

This place is like older than AQ, but didnt know that you can summon flying mounts there, so 2x+Rep for you

You can be summoned on a flying mount and only fly around in a place labeled as "Unknown" on your minimap and when you /who yourself, there are several places like that and southern Silithus is one of them.

There was a discussion at some point that if you get summoned there and use this program to lower the amount of information sent by wow so server side still thinks you're in southern Silithus you can fly all around Kalimdor.

Repost, the vid linked in a reply is probably from the original post..

but.. go to the coast of south eastern tanaris.. swim all the way to he western edge of tanaris.. here u can go up into the mountains and continue west and get to that area.. anyone can do it but u need some kind of slowfall (i use noggenfoggers)

the easyest way to test flying mount in azeroth is going west from Orgrimmar.. enter barrens.. pass Sludge fen.. just to the west of sludge fen u can go up in the mountains to a plateu.. tadaah "left channel: localdefense - barrens" (it will still say barrens on the minimap cos if your client dont get a new zone name from the server it will keep showing the previous one, but if u look in guild tab there will be no name under zone)

yea my "guide" is not complete, but cmon u can do the last bit of exploring yourself
