3rd expansion info (the one after WotLK)

The Undermine maps and sketches were comprised of by Ballwinkle and Myself for a really old Model Editing and Emulation project that was dropped about a year ago. Gief credits, kkthx.

I heard that there's a chance the next expansion may be based around The Maelstrom. It's the big swirly whirlpool in the middle of the Great Sea dividing The Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. I believe it's supposedly the homeland of the Naga and those crab-like humanoids, kinda like the ones underwater near the shore of Shadowprey Village in Desolace. The Emerald Dream however would be a quite possible addition. There are those green instance portals guarded by the prebc raid dragon bosses in Ashenvale, Duskwood, and The Hinterlands. It is speculated by many that they could be future entrances to the Emerald Dream, however it hasn't been proven yet. Another possibility would be adding the Emerald Dream and / or The Maelstrom and / or The Undermine together seeing as they might easily be added up to the size of a normal expansion. Nothing is certain as of this point though.

Undermine is my favourite place in Wow Lore so if they made that as an expansion I'd be over the moon. But they should make another Faction, Goblins and That is the whole starting area for Goblins. Then later on the Goblins could side with either the horde or Alliance or stay as a neutral Goblin who buys and sells Stuff.

reading is not necessary, i have never read a wow book but as soon as i heard about WotLK i thought "why not research some stuff about the next expansion". and i personally believe that the maelstrom will be after undermine, but since undermine is quite small, it is a possibility that they will be sharing an expansion. so i think next might be maelstrom + Undermine or Emerald dream. i will guess emerald dream because the world, or at least part, has already been created. (on some GM private servers you can visit them and from my personnel experience it looks pretty cool.) How ever our hackers (MMowned's) hadn't figured out about the outland until it came out and same with northridge.

Theres 3 portals like the one in the Duskwood.
And the dragons guarding the portals are dragons from the ED. (If I know anything about WoW lore.)

i think there might even be 4 ill look it up, cause i thought i saw it in a wow factbook. i just cant remember cause my smiley keeps himself in the head XD:wave:

I hope they don't make a 3rd expantion
but rather build in new features, better graphics and so on
and you can somehow upload your characters with their gear and items.
Call it World of Warcraft 2. Generation: Lands of Mysery or something like that.

There are four gates leading to the Emerald dream, wich 1 of em is located in Duskwood. The 4 dragons guarding it came from the ED, but slowly got corrupted since the Twisting nether is leaking into the ED.
The Titans give the Green dragon Aspect the power to sleep. To see in her dream and know what live was planning.

The maelstorm is the former Sunwell. The Well of Eternity, created by the Titans so many years ago. When the Highbornes were defeated, and Sargeras almost entered the world, the Well imploded, destroying 80% of what was known as the land of Kalimdor. Illidan Stormrage, then betraying his brother and his former love, by siding with the Highbornes escaped and took some of the Well's water, ( what was still pure ) and took it to Mount Hyjal.
The Highbornes how ever did survived the giant explosion, but were sucked miles under water, eventualy becomming the Naga.
The highborne leader became Lady vashj, and when Illidan was released from his 10.000 year prison, he refound the former Highbornes.
The naga, reconizing Illidan Stormrage, when he fought side by side with them to let Sargeras enter the world, were shocked by the powers the Demon-night elf had obtained. Pledging loyalty to him. ...

maby the maelstrom is the entrance and the portals bring you to the maelstrom. then the first few lvls could be at (, on, or whatever) the maelstrom. while the rest is at the dream itself, this will also stop lvl 20 ers just sneaking past the dragon and entering the dream

Uhm... Don't realy know why i told this ... but just wanted to explain what the Maelstrom and Emereld Dream are ^^

1) the ED is being corrupted BY THE OLD GODS! NOT THE TWISTING NETHER!
2)grats..you read War of the Ancients 1,2 and 3 XD..lol sorry but youre WRONG! after 10k years he came back not to let sargeras enter the world,but to get an army to kill arthas and then fulfilling the job kiljaeden gave him..although the nagas actually just used illidan..play warcraft 3
AND NO! lady vashj is NOT their leader! azshara is..and azshara sent lady vashj to the ground to "aid" (use) illidan..although its not mentioned in warcraft 3 that she uses him...SHE DOES...and some of the highborne DID survive and never became the naga..but after 3k years they were banished (i wonder what happened to them for 3k years..)

Isn't the emerald dream alerady in the game files? Like how outland was way back when?
