Well finally, that Canal is crap. It is horridly textured and covas up most of Stormwind! It would be cool if they let ships go through the Canals !
I cannot wait for next patches' 35gold Riding Skills (For the 40 mount)

Horde is actually also getting something like this but its outside undercity..
thats right we are getting a zeppelin tower built over time that will take us to northrend.
And from what i heard we players are gonna help gathering items to get it build.
I'd guess it will be like the AQ gates stuff gathering or someting
