Since I can't create my own thread, I will post it here. This reminded me of an exploit I figured out awhile back that is multiple times easier and more useful than this. Being able to reset a whole raid ID.

1. Clear the instance with the leader of the raid willing to change his name.
2. Have a friend put in a GM ticket to say that the leader's name is offensive.
3. When the name change is complete, the whole raid ID should be screwed up. As long as the person with the name change is the leader, the whole raid can raid the instance again. Two full clears of BT a week anyone?


This happened to me pre BT so someone should probably confirm it. The name change happened AFTER the raid was clear, so I do not know if it will work if the name change occurs while in the instance.

Ermm... for badges and raid instances i would do sth else. For example lvling an alt, bg-ing, farming, just running around STV and ganking lowbies or do heroics?
