Out of EotS - any class

I discovered this today while messing around. I get in the queue for EotS, and when the message appears I just take off all my armor (to avoid paying for repairs), and dismount in mid-air. When I hit the ground and die (dying can be done via other methods) I enter the BG (still dead).

Now here's the part that requires a little timing. As a ghost just stand on your spot and wait for the resurrection countdown to hit 1. As soon as it hits 1, run forward and when the countdown disappears (it hits 0), jump. If done correctly you should get rezzed as you jump out of the bubble. I also jumped off the rock with no problems and could run around freely.

If you jump down the 'rock' you get ported back.
But as you say you bypassed it?
Anyone confirm (cant myself).

And yes, joho, since I was in a hurry, instead of taking the regular route by falling down to the first rock and falling again to the ground, I just jumped off from the platform you start at and I landed without getting ported. Maybe it was a lucky jump, but that's what happened.

Just tried jumping off again (I was mounted). I did not get ported back.
