had this happen to me except I bought the wrong honor gem a while back. Instead of getting 8k honor points back i got 8k arena points. its all human error I would say. I purchased 4-piece merc that day and ended up with a nifty title at the end of S2 because of that GMs mistake =P

you cant EARN More then 5k arena points.

It doesnt mean a GM cant GIVE you more.

Like with most exploits/scams involving a GM the success of it depends on how lazy/forgetfull/distracted/noobish/whatever the GM is. He probably just forgot to delete your other armor piece. btw, acdc007elite, do you have a SS on that 8k arena points? would be nice to see it

tried this 3-4 weeks ago.. my item was never banked though. i had it equipped. anyways once zoned i lost the item and gained the are points back.
