How to access wow console...

I'm assuming this works much like the Windows command prompt. I have access to CMD.exe on a computer at school, but I don't have administrative rights so therefore I cannot do any of the interesting stuff. It's probably the same for WoW: you're not allowed to do the awesomeness stuff unless you're a GM.

I can set gamespeed to 1 and 2, but don't notice a difference.

I tried worldport 1 and worldport 2, but it says I don't have the privelidge to do it.

When my weapon skill goes up, it says

Skill 44 increased from 4 to 12.

I typed skill 44 100, and it now says skill 44 100.......wtf.

so is that it...you get weapon skill? but anyway I dont quite get it.....does this make it possible to change things in live wow, or is it basically just lookin at typing?

I think it doesn't change the value, it shows you that when you truly gain skill level, it says you get X amount skill in the console. And when ZOMG typed in "skill 44 100" all it did was repeat it, but not actually change any value.

There isn't much that you can do with it. It used to be accessible by a keybinding a long time ago, but they changed it. You can produce the same effects by typing "/console [command] I'm pretty sure."

The only thing that's really useful about the console is reloadui in my opinion.

open a notepad document and type command.com save it as whatever.bat . . it doesnt matter what the title is but it has to be .bat. just double click the .bat file and boom there you go. **probably want to either hide this (in a good spot) or delete it after using.

I was playing around with this for about an hour and all i didn was remove shadows of people, trees and other such things...



I was messing around with it just now and if you type Help whois, it gives you some cool stuff.

As well type Worldport 1 -11700.4, 2282.02, -11.8416
or Port 1 -11700.4, 2282.02, -11.8416 (Cords from Emuservers)

If you had the permision just think of the things you can do ...

Heres one, bring up the console as youjoin a queue to get into a server, its telling your console to wait in queue. What if you were to find the command it gives when your ready to get into the realm and enter the world? could you possibly skip the queues with this console?

Hell no. Anything you can't easily do another way, and anything usefull at all really, was disabled
