I found this exact post, exact wording, one day earlier. Kudos to you for sharing it with MMOwned, however, and +rep for you.

Tried this today, and it did NOT work. Dont know if it was hot fixed or what.

We went Normal Mech, killed first mini boss, got key. Left, went Heroic, PASSED the first mini boss, took down first main boss (Cause you cant get to the 2nd one without killing him). Then killed 2nd mini boss. Took key, and combined. BUT the cache did not open. Not until we went back, killed first one, and looted key.

It opened, but only one badge inside obviously. And we had an extra key frag tho.

Maybe we did it wrong? Correct me if what we did above mentioned isnt right. Otherwise, its not doable anymore.

WTF? Can people not read or something? Jesus christ.

1. Go into Normal Mech clear the RIGHT hand side and kill the miniboss obtaining the red fragment.

2. Zone out of the instance, and zone into the Heroic Mech. Go LEFT this time and kill that miniboss (Left is the one with the cache on that side), this will give you the blue fragment.

3. Join Red and Blue frag together, open cache, and wolah, Badge of Justice, DO NOT LOOT THE BLUE ITEM. The blue item keeps the cache there.

4. Go back to the start, and clear to the right again, kill this miniboss and loot the red fragment.

5. Head back to the cache and there should be another Badge in there, after you open it.

No you are not getting badges from Normal Mech, Yes you can kill the 2nd mini-boss without agroing the boss, that's whole point, I'm not sure if killing the boss affects the Cache but it might.

what? you did notice there are two ways to reach the second gatekeeper? even with mechano lord alive you can pull that gatekeeper safe, just look more then a second their pathways.

you could achive much more with using your brain more often instead of hurry, hurry, hurry and just try and fail with any guide around in the wide world of internet

Anyone know is this exploit is known to be fixed in a near future patch (if it is mentioned in any patchlist, ofc it could be fixed with a hotfix at any time but you know what I mean)?
Could be good to know how long it is going to work (not tried it myself).
