Yeah, its strictly for re-speccing, if your guild needs you to tank, switch to tanking gear, if they need you for DPS, switch armor. You WILL NOT end up with any more, its just a quick and easy way to change some armor based upon your current needs.

No, a GM will likely know when you bought it by 'accident'.
Tried this right after the start of S2, wanted to upgrade my helmet (which I bought 4 months before), he said sth about being to late to request a refund.

What about this,

A long time ago, all i used my arena points for was to buy quick PvE upgrades for my warlock, so I went and got the crit gear (Felweave). Now I dont PvE and only do PvP, so the Felweave gear is a bit crap for me. Would they refund my arena points if I claimed that I chose the wrong choice (various times!), despite the fact that it was quite a while since I bought them and they are now gemmed and enchanted?

I doubt it, but it would be awesome if it would work.

Here is a deal. You can restore accout and get points back within reasonable ammount of time. So if you buy something and a month later ask for restoration, not going to happend. NO! you can't turn in your s2 gear set and use points for s3 set.

What I wanna know is. I've had 3 vengeful pieces since the start of season 3...now i have 5/5 veng. I wonder if they would let me get my points back so that I could swap from dreadweave to felweave
