    Selling BoP Raid items

Anyways my guild and I have TK on farm and most of the people don't need gear from there... and I was talking to this friend of mine - Shaman who said he would do anything for t5 shoulders.

I Told him i could get him the shoulders for a fee of 1200g -

Anyways later that day the guild and I went TK and shoulder dropped and since no one needed them I told them i could use for DPS gear...

Anyways when raid was over i Opened a ticken explaining that I accidently looted the shoulders instead of a guild mate and wondered if it would be possible to trasnfer item to him. I gave them the name of the person who wanted to buy the shoulders.

Anyways next day he recieved his t5 shoulders and he gave me the promised 1200g
( good idea to do this to someone you know or else you'll probably just get scammed )

This sounds like a good idea in the start but it wont last...Since blizzard only gives the item if it was looted wrong 1-2 times. Because its not their fault that someone gives the loot to someone else.

This happened to be once and I didnt get the item :P

Anyways could work 1 or 2 times so 2400g aint bad

    Nice job m8

Doesn't work..... we have tried this with tier items that have legit been given to the wrong person..... they reply with there is a prompt with do you wish to give X item to X player and you have to click yes. They inform you that its your own fault and that nothing can be done.

this doesn't work in EU. We had a loot bug on trash in kara a long time ago, the epic boots dropped - but because I was ML and i couldnt give to him, I took them and opened a ticket. they said that they coudln't be swapped because they couldn't prove the tank was in the raid....i was like 'wtf', but yeah...had to vendor them

Ofc it doesn't always work, but in most cases it actually does. A stupid raid leader i once had gave me the mage t4 shoulders on my druid just because i said i needed it as a joke xD GM later on answered my ticket, talk to me, raid leader and the mage who was actually suppose to get it, the next day i lost the token thingy and the mage had gotten it, so don't go rambling off that it doesn't work.

Another easier way to do this is just by boosting someone and selling or if you wanna scam you can place some sort of lottery with around 10g fee or so, if you win you get a free "ride" in f.ex the eye and you get the chance to get free epix xD Of course if your guild doesn't like too boost people then just say that the winner was someone else or someone in the guild or so:P you figure that out:P

I once looted some crap in a heroic instance, then anyother one got angry and got gm to transfer. This did WORK! So i can 50% confirm this.

Just sometimes it may take 3-4 days before its transfered.

    Dude.. to the above poster..
Do you HONESTLY think blizzard is THAT stupid?!

I had this problem in ZA and it took a lengthly proceedure to fix this, first he needed a detailed description and the time it happened so he could check the chat logs then he checked out the other player to check if it was authentic. THEN he passed it on to an account admin game master who eventualy gave the go ahead to give me the item instead of my friend who didnt want it (i was int he raid etc all authentic and even then i alomst didnt get it).

GMs can be fairly retarded at times, so I guess its somewhat dependant on the luck of the draw, I'm sure you'll be shot down a few times but who knows, there might an off chance it might work O_o

This doesn't work, Blizzard check to see if the person you wish to give the item to was in the raid.

If you have the raid on farm though and want to make money, then organise raids where you invite 5 or so public players with the option to buy loot that drops.

If you happen to be the master looter, then GMs are more likely to transfer the items. I can't count the number of times items have actually gone to the wrong person with master looter. We almost have to open a ticket every week.

It's working on EU if the guy you gonna give it to is in the raid the same moment. We killed curator in karazhan LOOOOONG ago.. I thought I was the only tank and the plate-tanking-leggings dropped, a dps warrior wanted them but I didn't notice. Gave it to me for disenchant and then the whine started :P

Me (Raidleader/Lootmaster) and the one that who was supposed to have the item wrote a ticket, and the day after he had the leggings.

So, maybe if you have the one that is buying the item in the raid, but not inside the instance - might work,

    Over and out Neax
