Hunter Pet Exploit

Ok i was in SFK with my hunter, planning to get a wolf from there...for some reason. We had a priest, a shamen, me, another hunter, and a mage.
i was about to draw the wolf with "tame beast" when the mage all of a sudden polymorphs the wolf. luckily the other mob in the room did not aggro, but after he polymorphed the wolf, i tried to tame it. THE POLYMORPH DID NOT BREAK!!!!!! and at the end of the taming it changed back and was friendly

i searched Pet and nothing like this came up.
if something is up like this, plz no flame

i'm not flaming you, but what exactly is the exploit? why should polymorph break? it only does on damage. same goes for druid's sleep.

Ya i did that last night in ZG on a serpent its not an exploit but very helpful as you take no damage.

id, sheep / turtle / what-ever-the-3.-poly-is-called only breaks of dmg
and 2. why draw a wolf when you can tame it?

I didn't know you could poly a beast and then tame it. Guess I never thought about it because my hunter is only level 23 though. Anyway, thanks for posting this because now I (somebody who doesn't play a hunter) knows that my BE hunter for TBC will have some uber 1337 pets in the xpac.

But yea, it's not really an exploit.

not really an exploit? It's NOT an exploit, most hunter sites will actually give it as a tip...

Kind of sad how you made it sound 300x better then it is...

ummm, good job gettin the pet but I dont see the point, all you would lose is a lil health
