Raise Weapon and Defense Skill Fast and Easy!

Now before I begin, YES I did SEARCH, and YES this may be so simple and obvious you will want to flame because you forgot and just remembered, etc.

Say you are a lvl 60 and are a Warlock. You want to start using staves instead of daggers. You only have 1 skill ins taves and want tit o be high and don't want to die to an equal or lower level. Go to a newbie starting zone, start a fight with one of teh mobs. Only use your weapon you are trying to raise!No spells or abilities!!! Bam you will raise it up maybe 5-10 points a battle, and once it gets higher, go battle the second town mobs and so on until it is high enough for you.

^NOTE^ You can be any class.

Now for defense.

Go to the starting newbie area. Run by and start a fight with all mobs you can and stand there and let them beat you down. Wahlaa easy defense. Easy if you have a heal bot if you are a healer so you can sleep and it will heal you as you stand there.

So simple yet I have seen almost no one do it!

another way you can lvl up in any weapn, is when u go to SFK, after the magician opens that courtyard, to the bottom right their should be a guy laying down, i hav been able to kill him yet with my 44 hunter, its like he cant die, will post screens if anyone needs

you bring up a good point. but you will want to get a weapon that does very little damage to level your skill up. I used my skinning knife to level up my dagger skill. It was funny. A lvl 60 running around hitting things with a white weapon doing 1.2 DPS or something stupid like that.

Hmm I don't think that skinning knife qualifies as a dagger and about the defense thing, the mobs go out of combat if you don't hit em :P so the part of the heal bot is a no go.

ay imo is to kite a creature till it glitches and keep attacking him forever and he wont die :P i do it on my rogue.. so that means anyone can do it

Or just get a higher lvl mob and keep atking it? why kill hundreds of lvl 10s when u can kill a few lvl 40s with ur low dps? -_0

Edit: for defense go Dm and aggro non elite miners? wont lose aggro

I was using that as an example of just using a white/gray item. The skinning knife has no weapon tag on it. but I still did use it to kill stuff.

This one is hard to do but worth it....

IF you train one of those guys in the blasted lands to a bunch of guards... theyll gain aggro of it eventually. Since you cant kill them unless you have a quest, they can't either. They'll have 1hp, and you can keep leveling your weapon skill until a gm takes them out, or a server restart. I've heard of someone getting banned for doing it repeatedly so be careful, I've never known anyone that has though.

Why not get a crapy weapon and find a mid-lvl mob that can heal.

Autoattack and go watch a pr0n movie, come back and your still figthing.

Thought you migth get a GM /w asking if your a bot lol..
