Sell soulbound Alani mounts

This isnt really an exploit but useful info i guess.
I had like 7 alani mounts on my old farmbot account from selling them.
Deleted them.
Restored.
Now theyre not soulbound anymore.

They are soulbound so this is not an exploit.

As of patch 8.1 this mount is not soulbound anymore.

What OP said, is that the mounts looted before 8.1 implementation were souldbound, and they stayed that way after the patch, but when you delete them and restore them they get converted into the BOE version.
Can't confirm it, but I guess it is somewhat of an exploit if it works.

Is this intended, i mean is it okay to ask blizzard to specificly restore old deleted Alani mounts or will that be to obvious and not work, hehe? I have deleted a few myself over the years, spread out on servers and characters, even on deleted trials, but i should try to ask them if its possible, right? :P Thanks for post!

the item restoration process is automated anyway so no reason for this not to work.
like i said i restored 7 of them at once and got them instantly

I see, do you know how far back from you can restore items? I know for sure the GMs can restore super old stuff, but maybe not the auto thing.

no idea i deleted my alanis right before restoring them

You should have said that you sold them xd not deleted. I deleted one that i had, apparently the old deleted ones i had were deleted to far back so gm couldnt even find it. But the one i deleted i couldnt see since i the item restoration tool only restores sold items, so i asked a gm to restore, we talked and he checked, after some time he came to the conclusion that old versions of alani isnt supposed to be boe, only new ones, so i lost my chanse because i deleted it, if i would have sold, i would be able to use the item restoration tool and probably get it to boe, now gm wouldnt restore it, so guys, DONT delete it, only sell, and dont ask gms for help, wont happen.

Yeah, hehe. Oh, sorry for saying you did, my Alani mount didnt pop up in item restoration when i deleted, maybe i should have waited abit, i already was in a livechat with GM when i did it, so i didnt wait, maybe theres a delay, o well..
