[Tip/Miniguide] Finding enemy flag carrier in WSG

Alright alright. Exploit section doesn't like just tips but I think this is actually fairly useful.

OK. Enemy flag carrier locations in WSG eventually become visible on the battle map, but for those of you who don't feel like waiting that long to recap a flag from a hiding flag carrier this may be of use.

If you are a rogue you may know this already.

You will need:
A bow or gun with a slowish gun speed. (Depending on your ping if it's too fast you'll shoot and lose stealth.
A single arrow or bullet.
A stealth ability... or just good stealth skills. :P


OK what you do. While you are sneaking around the enemy base (this is a rogue's favorite thing to do anyway) type /target EnemyFlagCarrierName. Replacing that with the actual name of the flag carrier of course.
Once you have him or her targetted, equip your bow or gun and walk around the enemy base until the icon for your shoot bow or gun goes white instead of red like it is when you're out of range. If you're out of line of sight you know that the carrier is on another side of the building or in a different room. If you are within line of sight, you will point towards the flag carrier (make sure you jump or move or else your gun or bow will go off and you'll lose stealth and the element of suprise). Now that you're pointed straight at the flag carrier, finding which bush or tree they're hiding behind will be a lot easier. Just make sure to switch back to your throwing weapon if you're a rogue so you can use deadly throw.

Kinda common sense I guess but hopefully it helps.

Note: this will also work with throwing weapons, but they go off faster than bows or guns with 2.x speeds, so you're less likely to lose stealth due to ping.

kind of obvious, also works with casters, but ofc your not stealthed so you can get ganked alot easier.
