EXPLOIT - ZOMG new hunter weapon!

Before I begin, let me tell you that this isn't a serious exploit. While it is actually an exploit in patch 2.0.1, there is no purpose for it.

The other day when I was leveling up my troll hunter, I was doing the series of Taming the Beast quests that you have to do to get your pet.

However, when I was on the third and final quest to tame an Armored Scorpid, I noticed that the [Taming Rod] I was given was actually a main-hand weapon, dealing 1-0 damage. When I equipped it and drew it out of its sheath, I saw that it had no actual model, and was replaced by a blue-and-white checkered cube.

I immediately roffled and made a video of myself using it to wtfpwn in pvp.

Note: I'm almost positive it only works in the Durotar hunter quest chain.

And yes, I did just waste an hour of my life. But it was funny.

I figured this out too, last week, it was funny when I was like "WTF I WANNA COMPLETE THIS FRIGGIN QUEST!!" Then someone told me it had happened to him and you just have to equip it and then right click on it while it's equipped.

it was teh unarmed skill

I figured this out too, last week, it was funny when I was like "WTF I WANNA COMPLETE THIS FRIGGIN QUEST!!" Then someone told me it had happened to him and you just have to equip it and then right click on it while it's equipped.

lol, yeah i didnt realize that but i guess it wouldnt just let you use the function without equipping it. me being the exploiter that i am, equipped it as a weapon before i even thought about using it for its intended purpose

Ahah yeah, the exact same thing happened to me when I was testing a few things out on a trial account, its completly bugged.
