Weapon skill leveling as a 70 warrior

First of all, you will need a healer friend - or another account with a healer. Go inside SL, and on your right you will have:

pull 1: a single mob. Kill him and move on.
pull 2: a group of three mobs, one of which a healer. Will take a while, but kill them and you will get to
pull 3: a group of two healers. Now here you can swap to the weapon you want to level and just get bored swinging at them. The mobs will keep healing each other much faster than you can kill them (they have renew+heal) and the healer friend / alt will keep the warrior alive. if extra threat is needed so that the other character doesn't steal aggro, just go to your "main" wapon and throw a few sunder armors on the mobs, and back to work. I used this tactic to get my mace and sword spec to max, but it was a long boring night indeed.

I can agree on this one, like it much better then the one you posted.

One of the other weapon skill leveling i like is the one in SMV (Kinda painful since those mobs standing next too the banished guy really packs a punch) hitting that banished guy in the BT place.

Going into AV hitting on wolfs or those kobolds, you won't lose durability when you die and you leech honor =D (my personal favorite)

I cannot remember any others but these 3 are the ones I use.

I think it would get really boring doing it that way. I've never had a problem leveling a warrior's melee skills anyway.

The best way for anyone to level up their weapon skill is to kill the immortal mobs in the blasted lands, as people said. But to make things easier, either be a Pally, or bring one along to help out. Just have him judge Seal of Light on the mob, and both of you just keep hitting it. It is much nicer, because the pally's hits will refresh the judgment, and you will never get killed, because of the healing.

It is very nice to just turn on auto attack, and then go watch a movie, and come back in an hour or two. I am not sure if you could be banned for this, but I don't see why you could be. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I have done it at least twenty times, and I have never even gotten a warning.

Or simply move to Shadowmoon valley and attack those mobs that are banished? you take _no damage_ at all, and you only have to kill a few mobs when they respawn.

Sucks when you fall asleep doing this due to boredom....woke up to an earth elemental beating on me ...managed to bubble with 100 HP left. Yay panic buttons.

Easy enough to do this as a Warrior, just be certain you're not tired when you start. :P
'cause the devil is a loser and he's my bitch
