Fresh Holly / Dragonmaw Nether Drake Exploit

Simple: When your on netherwing ledge with the Dragonmaw Netherdrake, use your fresh holly, you will not transform into a reindeer, but remain as a netherdrake as long as your are mounted, even if you leave netherwing ledge.

This is the same thing that happens when you leave netherwing ledge with any extra buffs on you (like fort).

Both the OP and the leecher above me are wrong. This is an event that randomly occurs when you fly off of netherwing ledge transformed, it's simply a bug. No buffs or Holly required.
