Binding Hearthstone at Aldor Inn, from the outside.

Aldor (Shattrath) Hearthstone binding trick:

The trick is simple, you increase the camera zoom factor to full, you increase the new zoom distance
in Interface then you zoom full out. You stand at the specific location and you CTRL+V to display all
friendly nameplates. If you move the camera around a bit and manage to get the innkeeper (Minalei)
name up, you can right-click then bind your hearthstone. It goes like the following:

1) Stand exactly at 28.57,49.80 (more or less)


2) Paste this script into your chat to change the camera zoom factor:

/run for index,value in pairs(UIOptionsFrameSliders)do if(value.text=="MAX_FOLLOW_DIST")then value.maxValue=3.4;OPTION_TOOLTIP_MAX_FOLLOW_DIST=OPTION_TOOLTIP_MAX_FOLLOW_DIST.."\n\nTemporary improved max camera distance limit from 30 to 50.";end end

3) Esc -> Interface -> Max Camera Distance -> set it to full.


3) CTRL+V (or your own binding, to display friendly units name plate)

4) Turn your view angle something like on the picture and zoom out full.


5) Right-click her name when it shows up, and bind your hearthstone!

What you gain is the ability to instantly mount up after a hearthstone,
no more waisting time to run out then mount!

As said, you can then mount up straight after the HS. I personally find it annoying to have to run out in order to push my mount button, didn't seem like people had even mentioned the camera trick at the Aldor Inn so I posted a small guide for the people who feel the way I do about being inn door.

Or me (as a scryer) could attack her and kite her away into the scryer inn, where you then may talk to her and then you could make your hs into the scryer inn as an aldor, or somewhere else in the zone

Sometime it sounds like people only play on private realms. In Shattrath you can't attack anyone, except the guards of the opposite faction (Aldor/Scryer). The vendors and the innkeeper mobs are not attackable. :lmao:

Whole point is to right-click the nameplate and open up her dialog. You can't open up the dialog if you don't right-click. If you don't believe me then try it out yourself. :P

The nameplate won't show up even if you target it like that, you need to tweak the angle into the right position in order to show it. Try it yourself.
