I've stumbled across a nice little somewhat exploit/scam for all of you USA'ers to use. Basically, you can pickup TBC for 4 dollars. Props to Havik over at the Glider forums for finding this beauty.

Basically, the game originally is $14. However, if you use Google Checkout for the first time, you get a $10 discount, bringing the price to $4. The delivery is free of charge. Don't miss this opportunity to grab a bargain for scamming/gliding/botting/hacking/exploiting.

Now, click the Google Checkout and enjoy your TBC key for $4. This only works for one copy, more copys cost $14. However, you can avoid this restriction by doing the following:

1. Go to the mall and buy a 20 dollar visa gift card, comes to 22 bucks. (this works just like a atm/debit card so you can use it anywhere)

2. Register the card on Simon mall site and use any name and address you want.

3. Use this card for buying 1 copy of the game 3.99 if you select free shipping. (just make sure that you put your name and address for the shipping address)

4. Use the rest of the card $16.01 for anything you want, ie subscription for [email protected] and a candybar at the quicktrip by your house...

This is considered an exploit because you are exploiting the WoW retail price - you could also consider this a scam, or whatever. It's a nice little trick, now go pickup your WoW TBC key for $4. Have fun - Remember to say thanks!

I'm not sure if it's a buy.com offer, or a google checkout offer. I'm guessing buy.com however.
