Possible rollback exploit

Something weird just happened, I was buying a portal from a mage, I was in his group, and he was casting the portal spell. I opened trade window and put 3g, he thought it was too much and put 1g on his side. We both pressed trade (and I THINK this was at the exact moment that the portal spell was finished casting), the trade window was green at both our sides for a second, then we both got disconnected and rollbacked a minute or so. He still had his portal rune and both of us still had our money. If anyone manages to find something useful out of this, you're welcome

Dont know if I did it wrong, but didn't work for me. I did the following (2 wow clients)

Warlock opens trade window
Warlock puts in gold
Mage puts in gold
Mage starts casting portal
Warlock clicks accept trade
1 second before the portal is created mage clicks accept

I don't know if it matters, but here is a bit more detailed explanation: 1. He starts casting portal 2. I open trade, put 3g and accepts 3. He puts 1g on his side and accepts 4. I accept at about the same moment as portal casting finishes

You have to try again, to see if it happens again.

What probably happen was you guys got some server loot lag, and got disconnected... nothing special, happens.

But unless you find a way to make the server loot lag again, this cant be used as exploit.

Just rent your account to something like WoWpl , they will put time on it and use it for farming one day, free game time :P
(Or just wait till theyr finished with subscribing game time, then just change PW.)

Btw.. casting a portal dosnt make you go anywhere. u just like.. open a portal..
U sure you don't mean teleport? More realistic to have rollbacks when something disrupts you when you'r changing between zones :P.

Making a portal will again just make a portal.

Portal (shattrath if that matters), might work with any spell though
