Killing Yourself for Arena Rez Exploit

So, glad I can finally contribute something. Most people by now know of the Arena Resurrection Exploit where if you die prior to joining the arena, and your healer resses you (assuming he can res) you will have the accept resurrection screen in the arena once your que pops.

The problem is, with quick que times, its hard for non-warlock classes to kill themselves before their que pops up. For that, the item Crystal of Zin-Malor - Items - World of Warcraft works rather nicely. Obtained through a quest (Pre-BC) so relatively easy for a 70 to complete.
Kills you without taking durability loss, and you can unequip it in the staging time before the Arena gates open.
Tested a number of times with Paladin arena partner, confirmed to be working.

I just go to org, and by the hunter trainer, where you get under org, i just just off the waterfall. i Know it dur hits me, but i can play the bills

I read in the comments that if you abandon the quest the item disappears.
However, hordies can do this too with the Skull Of Impending Doom. It's faster and both factions can get it. All you need to do is unequipped your armor and then put it back on, or jump off a building for some fall damage. You need to be below 60% health before using it or you would be wasting the cooldown.

Erm.. or... you could just queue in Shattrath, get on your flying mount, fly high enough to kill yourself from falling then just unmount, and the best thing is, everyone can get a flying mount

You're thinking of the Videre Elixir, which only works in the Tanaris graveyard, but it's available for both factions through the Linken questline in Un'goro.

If you knew of the exploit in question, you wouldn't be asking this. Simply put.

1. Que for Arena
2. Kill Self
3. Get Resurrected by another player, preferably your team mate if he/she has resurrection capabilities.
4. Enter Arena, will be auto-resed
5. (If) you die, you will be able to use the resurrect you received outside the Arena, earlier.
6. Profit
