Hi folks,
This isn't a big thing, but maybe some of you didn't notice. It isn't new tho.
So, apparently, with the stat squish that we recieved in BfA, we are dealing the "squished" ammount of damage to targets within 10 levels under ours (I'm not sure about the certain ammount of levels tbh, it's just a thought). But, to the rest of low level targets, such as critters, or Tanaris pirates, or whatever at a reasonable-low level, we are hiting them for few more.
For example, I tested my Aimed shot:
Vs lvl 110 target: ~3k damage.
Vs lvl 60 target: ~1.1M damage.
The thing here, is that, if you have leech in your stats, you will heal a % of that damage. Maybe 1% of 3k is not much when we have 30k total HP, but its a good ammount if we deal 1.1M.
So, as many of you should know, hunters have 3 kinds of pets. Tanks, "PvP", and "PvE". The PvE ones grants a 10% leech buff. (Predator's Thirst - Spell - World of Warcraft)I shouldn't say more at this point. You can 0 to 100% yourself in a PvP scenario just by having this pet, wasting a single GCD.
In my case, I was farming Bloodsail bucanners' rep (for the insane ach) and I was unsing low lvl NPCs in Booty bay to heal myself on the way that I was fighting those lvl 110 goblin guards, and I survived every time I was about to die by using this.
So, well, there is it!
Thank you for your atention,
Speedahx.
