[Work in progress] Almost no cost for transmogging

Lately I observed that I have almost no gold cost when transmogging under certain circumstances. I changed both weapons and it only cost me 2 gold on a 110 char.

I was playing with my DH on one server, logged onto another server to another DH, went out of the main room of the fel hammer and hopped on my yak to transmog. When I started to change the weapons, I switched the purple glaives to the blazing demonhilt sword and then changed the enchant (cant remember into which one) but reverted back to netherflame. I didnt pay much attention to the costs during the process but when I was done and looked it showed only 2 gold for this change. My bazooka money addon confirmed it. A minute earlier on the 1st DH the exact same change would have cost me 407 gold.

Im not yet sure how to replicate this. One time it seems to happen after a changing chars and other times it happens while playing with one char for abit. So far it happened in dalaran, skyhold and the fel hammer. Once this "phenomenon" is active, the costs stay low for weapons but not for armor. I relogged and it was still active. I transmogged my warrior almost completely and it cost me nothing but that was only armor, not weapons which would have cost several hundred gold.
Right now I have this on two alliance DHs, normally leveled, not boosted.

I know most people dont consider transmogging expensive but if it scales with level then the expenses will rise with BfA. Maybe its useful for someone.

Edit:
I just had this again (april 12th). I was going ICC with my DH and used the alt ID trick. I logged in, invited myself into the group I created with my alt, entered ICC, did the usual, returned to dalaran, placed the crystals into the guild bank, left the bank to change my tank weapons into something more stylish and then noticed that changing the transmog for both weapons only costs 2g.
