its kind of hard to do it but its worth it
1. kill the mob (don't loot it yet)
2. pull another to the same place
3. position yourself so that you can see the dead and live ones.
4. use the shift loot on the dead one and imeadately start clicking the attack button on the live one.
if all goes well you will take the money and still be able to loot the corpse again. on the corpse there should be the same amount of money you already got.

Its not patched.

If 30 silver drops, it just says:

Picked up 30 Silver.
Picked up 30 Silver.
Picked up 30 Silver.
Picked up 30 Silver.

But the last one you do where you actually DO loot it counts. All the other times it just says that but no money is added.
