Guarantee the Globe Yeti capture

the Globe Yeti battle pet spawns every 30 minutes inside the snowglobes in org and stormwind, but only 1 spawns at a time, and at least for now, there's some competition for it. Most people are using macros and spamming to start the battle as soon as they can, but by using Savage Snowball you can knock them out of the pet battle and capture the pet yourself.

if you interrupt a player battling this pet, the pet will despawn.

so no point in doing this.

I'm not 100% sure but I think it will only despawn if 1 of the pets of the team was already defeated/captured.

tried it yesterday just for the fun of it, already have the pet. Knocked the poor guy out of the battle 3 times before he could capture it. So it works but you have to be fast, since the yeti can be one shotted. Also I noticed when you do this it puts you in combat and you cant start pet battle.

Just a heads up so we don't get an influx of whining in this thread: if someone reports you for this via web chat or such, this is one of those "exploits" which is a bannable offence under Blizzard's harrasment policy.
