First off, only for hunters.

With any type of fear, it only fears up to 5 enemies, except for bosses. The Fel Overseers cast a fear. As a hunter, if you drop a snake trap prior to pulling, when they run over it and set it off, the snakes get feared instead of the party. Not exactly what Blizz had in mind I suspect.

Second, if you duel alot or arena alot, make a /kneel macro. Spam that a few times before actually dropping your trap and you're bound to make someone think they got away from your traps. Especially useful for watching rogues blow their COS early.

uhmmm, well I'm pretty sure that all classes can see hunters traps now so...yeah

In the arena they don't always see the traps...I've had success more than once against people blowing cooldowns because they thought they were gonna hit a trap. But thanks.

well if u use kneel they will maybe think, ooh i dont see any trap, maybe hidded. or sumthing. And run away from it :P and then u put out a new one on a place they dont see u. Very good in blade edge arena !!! or works in all.
