WoW 11th Anniversary Buff item still works

This was true in previous years as well, but posting it again because it's still working this year.

If you have a [ Anniversary Gift ]on an alt, unopened, it contains the [ Celebration Package ] which gives you 11% extra XP, not consumed on use. In the past it would disappear if you log out, but I DC'd after opening the box, logged back in and still had it in my bags. Was able to trade it to my other account and working for me.

Two of the same exact mobs killed, first without the buff active, second with it used:

only really useful for 1-100 though mobs in legion give very little xp

I had these saved on a lot of toons and last night at launch I tired them. The buff applied, but once I Logged out the item was gone. I tried to put it in my bank for next try and same thing, gone on relog. I don't know why OP's isn't disapearing

thanks for the info I was going to try that next. Bought a bunch of wrapping papper last night, but haven't tried it yet
