Permastun raid bosses/friendly npcs, players (BM Hunter), very gamebreaking
Instructions:
1. Get play dead item from marden thunderhoof in sholazar basing.
2. Complete BM quest chain
3. Summon pets.
4. Change spec.
5. Summon pet.
6. Target another player/npc.Watch them die.
They don't actually "die" but they do the death animation and are stunned for 6 minutes.
With raid bosses the physical form of the boss is stunned but their special abilities still work.

Would this perhaps work for this achievement? No More Tears - Achievement - World of Warcraft
If you had some hunters, you could "stun" 10 of the blobs for 6 minutes, would make it much easier

You only need the one hunter, you could have multiple stuns on multiple bobs.
Bear in mind however, this is totally gamebreaking and won't last long, so you might want to go beyond this type of thing.

You can also buy the "play dead" book in your class Hall, there is no need to go to Sholazar.

I was keeping this one quiet but other people started using it to wreck bg's, it will likely get fixed very soon.
And for once I hope they do. This could be used to completely shut down the game if you were a real sociopath, not something I would like to see happen.

It's actually not a permastun against bosses. It does nothing against bosses actually. The boss is able to move and auto attack even with play dead on the boss

Some of them move around exorcist-style yeah, looks very very strange. It does limit some abilities with some bosses, and it can one-shot adds, but you make a fair point.
Just tried this on Archimonde and he floated around in a prone position, looked insane.
My apologies for the overstatement, I had to get out this one out very fast. That said it is gamebreaking in other ways for all kinds of applications.

A (incomplete) list of stuff that works with this:
1. "Killing" friendly npc's, eg Khadgar, faction bosses, Khadgar (I don't like Khadgar).
2. Godlike in pvp. If the "dead" player doesn't get targetted they seem to be stunned for the full 6 minute duration. Targetting minions is a more subtle but very effective technique less likely to trigger reports.
3. Effectively Unlimited cc in dungeons against trash/adds. Mechanics vary, but trash mobs generally just lie there.
4. Stun players not in combat (not recommended except possibly friends with a sense of humour).
5. Stun very annoying players in pvp who blame for everyone else for the team failing.
6. Effectively one-shots vehicles/gun turrets etc.

Also, it should be noted that Friendly players can simply click off the buff, whilst enemy players cannot

Hmmmm...surprising how long it can take them to figure that one out.

Did you make sure to either Unequip Titanstrike or go SV/MM and have a pet?

Just found out, taking off Titanstrike allows you to do it while being BM. It has something to do with having two pets
