Create your own portals. (mage required)

I have been using this since the group finder system first came out.
Step 1: Park mage and other toon to be ported in the same area.
Step 2: Log into toon to be ported and create a group in premade group with auto accept on.
Step 3 Log out of that toon and log into your mage.
Step 4: Create a portal to where ever you wish to go.
Step 5: Switch back to the other toon and there you go free portal!

well i am doing it since i leveled mage 100 anyway u can make group in premade with (auto join) as mage make portal and log alt easy no need triple loging

Missing a step between 3 & 4: "join first characters group".

This is probably common knowledge amongst exploiters but I continually see other veteran youtubers missing out apparently obvious tricks
involving manipulation of the group finder system, so I imagine a lot of people would find this useful. You need to bear in mind there is so much
to know about wow even veteran players can miss comically obvious stuff (I know I do).

That said, this is probably "clever use of game mechanics" than an exploit, so would be more appropriate for guides.

Came into here to say this.

It's so much quicker to make the auto invite group on your mage, drop the portal, then swap to your other character, join the group and enjoy a free teleport.

Giggles aside, this one's actually good. I remember something like this was suggested for fast instance runs, but I myself didn't think of it in the context of my low alt porting. Thanks!
