Okay, so there's a lot of misinformation and just general misunderstanding here, let me see if I can clarify it.

Let's say you have two invasions, invasion A in Tanaris, and invasion B in Northern Barrens. You do both A and B, therefore you can't get loot from them. Now let's say Invasion C is in Azshara, and Invasion D in Westland. If you were to do Invasion A again normally, you wouldn't get loot, since you already got loot. However, if you START Invasion A BEFORE Invasion C and D hit, then not only will you get loot AGAIN from Invasion A, but you will get loot from Invasion C and D. Essentially this allows you to get 1 extra rare chest per hour.

To sum up, you have to start the old invasion before the new invasions hit, BUT you have to finish the old invasion after the new invasions have hit. So start Invasion A or B 5 minutes prior to Invasion C and D hitting, then when C and D hit you will still get loot from A or B and be able to do C and D

That's longer explenation but yeah - it does or should work this way.
BuT Tbh instead of bags go to barrens and farm stage #3 with different groups [kind of realm hopping] - with enough folks there it can provide up to 200-350 shards / hour easily

Intended and not an exploit? Where exactly is the exploit?

From my understanding you finish a or b after c and d spawn but that doesn't mean you get c and d's loot. you just get to finish a.

Seriously though, people need to make video's or learn to explain their shit better. (not you ketresh, OP does).

I had no problem understanding OP and have been doing this since I first read about it. It's definitely not intended to get 3 chests every 4 hours.

you can do all invasions -> gives you 3 small boxes + 3 big boxes...as there are 3 invasions going at the moment...just before the new invasions begin, you look for a group in the dungeon finder which is on phase 3 on an invasion which you have already finished...if you finish it with the group, you get the extra big box...BUT if the new invasion hits in the same zone again you lose a small one...get it? i think its much more confusing now
