Skip to Lichking mage only

While playing around with my wife's mage shimmer and Displacement after reading a post i found. i cleared to gunship and by mistake was able to skip to lich king. i simply stood on the boat where the ramp connected facing where the dragon lands popped shimmer then displacement after which like normal i started falling got kicked to log in screen upon logging back in it put me in lick kings room. Not sure if i can do it every time still testing but looks like it can duped easy thus saving a fu*k ton of time in Icc.



Also if you go on the boat and get the rocket pack then shimmer+displacment when you fall and get kicked out to log in screen when you load back in it puts you at front of instance with rock pack still on. Not game breaking but fun either way i mean its a rocket pack.

Kenneth here is a picture from my private server the spot you need to stand is same as live. i did it this way due to i have to edit the pic less of names and the safety of the account won't be in danger. The ship is not spawned but the way my toon is facing is the way you need to be while on the ship.

I am not being able to replicate this on the alliance ship. Is this horde only? Doing it on the ally ship does make me fall, but upon relog it loads be to beginning of instance.

Big thanks to advanta for the video that got me to play with stuff. Seems each zep in org sends you to different zones when doing this trick not super useful but still neat.i ended up in duskwallow marsh from stranglethron and south barrens from Tirisfal Glades as of yet not tested the other 2 being Borean Tundra and Thunder Bluff.

I am going to hop onto my alliance mage and see if standing next to the area will allow me to replicate the effect at all. Otherwise.. boo for horde only lol


EDIT: This works for alliance. I stood on boat facing the ramp. Blinked, shimmered, did some slow fall (because I wasn't sure what was going to happen), DC'd and came back in front of LK.



Please excuse the damaged gear. Fell off the platform a few times and died
