ive been attempting to do it on my low level and even 2 other toons, not sure but could be hotfixed. im running in and out of the buff and getting nothing just goes off me even standing in the circle when it disapears.

Most things don't survive hearthing/porting to a different zone.

If it zones, yeah, it would be a big deal. Almost anything that zones is a big deal.

Shame to hear if this has been fixed or not, but it seems like it was really wicked while it lasted. \o/ I guess the spell kept checking to see that your character was in that location and, since your character was saved to return to that exact spot once leaving the BG, it just said "YUP, THEY'RE THERE" and wouldn't continue to re-check. I guess. Makes me wonder what other kinds of spells in a similar manner this sort of thinking can be applied to though. Maybe we can have a Plague 2.0 again? BUAHAHAHA~ Still, awesome find - +rep! <3

A lot of WoD area of effect spells have this issue. (And probably some cata aoe spells) I tried a few times looking for any sort of WoD NPC aoe database but its hard finding that sort of stuff without sorting through each individual npc on wowhead. I believe you can still do this which the rylak aoes in frostfire ridge but those just kill you over time, lol.

Pure damage buff isn't as useless as it may seem. You can put it on your hunter pet for example and use the buff to take its health down to the level where you get the cornered buff. Monks can virtually one-shit players with tok.
