Idk if it has been found out before but as a rogue you can cloak the demonslime debuff and then move freely in the goo without getting the debuff again

This would rock in world pvp if you can lure your target into the goo with you.

except not at all. this forum has a [No useless] rule. this is useless. the only advantage the OP has come up with is "fishing" (you fish from land) and "showing off", which makes this useless.

It's not useless if it can help you survive in certain situations. Maybe not the most gamerbreaking exploit, but not (completely) useless.
And it's clearly not intended that using cloak prevents the debuff from being applied again so you can stay in the goo for as long as you want.

If it's useless to you, it doesn't mean that it's useless to everyone!
Thanks OP!

There's a difficulty with declaring things useless because theory people like me see utility in virtually everything no matter how pointless. Two years down the line applying the same concept to some new feature might be gamebreaking-that does happen.
The other half of the exploit community is more kinda of "give me the damn dupe/damage hack/xp boost otherwise go away and quit wasting my time". I sympathize with that, not everyone has that much time, although the really cool stuff does sometimes come out of apparently useless things.

Not really a big exploit, known this for quite a while now. But still thanks for sharing mate, hopefully it helped someone else. Cheers!

This is so very true. An excerpt I've taken from google reads:
"The first wheels were not used for transportation. Evidence indicates they were created to serve as potter's wheels around 3500 B.C. in Mesopotamia—300 years before someone figured out to use them for chariots."
This cloaking to avoid debuff trick could be a wheel.. if not this, then maybe something someone would have posted had they not been dissuaded from by reading the "useless" comments. Fact is, when you tell someone it's useless, all you're doing is damage.
