Get collectors edition mount and pet without collectors.

I recently purchased a collectors edition copy of Legion on my main account and when I received the notification saying my mount and pet were ready to be accepted I clicked them, they went into my bags and I logged off that toon. However, I went to do a character transfer from the newly legion account to another account that didn't have legion. After receiving multiple errors trying to do this on my own I asked via live chat and was told it was due to one copy having legion and the other not. So they refunded legion to allow me to do the transfer and then I simply added back the standard edition of legion after changing my mind on the pet and mount. To my surprise when I logged back in there they were sitting in my bags still just waiting to be clicked and added to my collection.

TLR - Buy collectors, loot mount and pet, request refund, buy back standard edition, log in and learn mount/pet profit.

So this requires a customer service via the live chat to get the refund? They'll probably get sus pretty quick if everyone suddenly starts asking for refunds without a good reason.

Thanks but this is not a long-term permanent solution. It's only a matter of time before they put flags in that check account level and remove the mount/pets.
This reminds me of the old authenticator pet exploit. You'd detach the authenticator but the pet would stay hence giving you a free pet but they added checks a couple patches later and it no longer works.

Also similar to how the WoD collector's edition pet was tradable for the first few hours. Anyone who bought one and learned it had it removed from their account, and if they had one in there mail or inventory they DCed then had it removed once logging in.

Yeah I think items like this would get removed from your collection eventually.. I remember a similar thing happen in Warlords, they got detected pretty fast...

Haven't done this with Legion CE but concerning the WoD CE:

I preordered the CE online, looted Pet/Mount ingame and got the FoS. Then I wrote a ticket for a refund, which I got without any problems. After I bought the normal version of the add-on I kept mount and pet + FoS for a while. After a few weeks the Mount and Pet got deleted but I keep owning the FoS (both, for mount and pet) to this day

You guys really keep buying wow expansions? Do you really belief it will improve? Wod was my last one but I wish you all your best in your dreamscape and landing flat on your nose of reality^^
