plus you don't get saved so you just swap back and forth btwn heroic and normal and it keeps resetting.

I did once normal then once heroic, but after doing the heroic, I wasn't saved to any raids so I'm assuming that it'll work if you give it the 5 min or so it takes to run normal to reset mobs and stuff.

I just tryed it and for some reason I did not shift out of combat when I jumped, they kept attacking me, I even waited till the very last point when they all stood beside me on the ledge. I think Blizzard fixed it with latest patch =(((

Get a mod called scrolling combat text and enable the "combat flag" option do not jump off the ledge till it scrolls you are out of combat on your screen
