Complete Garrison Apexis Daily Without Doing it

It's possible this is intended, but I can't imagine why it would be.

Simply pick up an Apexis daily that you would get from your garrison's war room (or whatever it's called). In this case I got the Assault on Shattrath.
Next, go to Tanaan and get your daily to do an area bonus (Iron Front, Ironhold Harbor, Kil'Jaeden, etc).
Upon completion of the Tanaan daily, it will also give you credit for the garrison daily, even though you haven't touched it.

It's too late for me to try it today, but I imagine this would work with missives as well... someone should give it a try!

Does this also work with Missives? This would be a huge and fast Garrison resource - Apexis conversion.

Didn't work for me. Maybe I should have picked up the Garrison daily first instead of the Tanaan one.

It has happened to me several times so I can confirm, but it didn't work for me today.

Sometimes it does, other times it doesn't.

Edit: This has been posted in Elite for a week, and the general idea there is that this only works with the 1000 apexis quests.

Yeah this is a repost. Has been in Elite for a while and was even posted in this section (by me) a few days ago. Of course a Mod deleted it so we'll see how long this one lasts.

Anyway, it only works with the 1000 Apexis group missions in my experience. Tried a missive once and tried a 800 apexis table quest once. No dice for either.
