Baleroc - Avoid shards of torment

If you are having problems with this boss for whatever reasons, just let him walk the entire fight. With my melees I just walk backwards and when he has to move because Im out of hit melee range, he will cancel the cast for a shard.

u can also 1shot it, if u get Imprinted from Alysrazor. Soon as baleroc casts inferno blade it bugs and u have 1000% more dmg.

This was fixed afaik, but getting 25 Stacks + Crit Buff from the Alysrazor fight is still a good way of dealing with Baleroc, just make sure to not attack him while flying or he will despawn.

They didn't fix it, i've been doing it on 10chars every week.

You should be able to kill the boss before he does this ability or just after.
The achievement is NOT for avoiding shards:

"Defeat Baleroc in the Firelands without allowing any member of your raid to suffer Torment more than three times. "

Not everyone is farming with a lvl100 char and on lower levels the shards + boss hurt.
By avoiding shards you have all the time in the world to kill the boss and to earn the achievement.

He still drop the shard of torment regardless of what you do, however, the shard has a short range radius of channeling debuff and damage. As long as you stay out of that range (about 15 ~20 yards), the shard will emit pathetic AoE damage which is negligible by any class.

In short, it isn't really an exploit, lv 90 in MoP after legacy buff could already solo it.

The shards dont spawn which should not happen. Therefor its an exploit.
