This is not new, it was already posted as an alternative to Mechanar chest farming.

this is not mechanar. and its not easy to find places were mobs bug. so it is new.

Hmm...I tried this after Blizz fixed mechanar, but I did it with vanish just like mechanar was and needless to say it didn't work. I'll definitly try this out tomorrow and see how it goes. I didn't know the mobs could be bugged like that.

I think blizz has too much time on their hand if they are banning people who take those kind of risk to loot a chest.

Hmm...While doing this I found that jumping onto the ledge at a 90 degree is a lot easier than going to the side. Here is a screenshot to explain what I mean.

i've been farming this chest in the last few days, nice loot (greens to disenchant + pots + blue gems), but i need to clarify something: do this chests have a chance to drop BoE epics? ;p

Out of 5 runs it has spawned twice, and only once unlocked.

I got 6.5g and 1 66green and 1 spi scroll and a shitty green gem. Not worth it imo, but still interesting.
