4x 620+ iLvl Items instead of 3 at level 91
As I'm sure you all know, you're allowed to have only 3 of the Master Crafted items which are wearable at level 91 and are 600+ iLvl, great for helping to breeze through those NPC's and quests in the early 90's.
Well, did you know that you can actually have 4 of these items? Blizz forgot to tag one profession's 91+ crafted item in that Lore Group.
Pick the 3 master crafted items you want, then go learn Alchemy (very easy and cheap to learn with crescent saber fish flesh as well, takes about 20 minutes to go from 0 to 600 / 700)
Once you have your alchemy up, go buy the new Draenic Philosophers Stone recipe from the alchemy vendor in Draenor. You can wear this 620 trinket at level 91 along with the other 3 Master Crafted items you have to make your level 91 toon even more powerful.
Have fun!

Hi, thanks for the rep.
Engineering items are profession exclusive too but still count as master crafted. Perhaps it was intended and if it was, it's a bit odd and pretty unknown among all of the people in 3 guilds I'm in on my characters. It would be the only profession that has this currently.
So perhaps it could be a guide rather than an exploit, I wasn't sure.
Either way, figure folks around here would enjoy it.

i think the reason its not considered one of three crafted items is because as an alchemist you require the stone to make transmutes. if you read the fine print on the trinket it says something like "is used to make transmutes and replaces all lesser philosophers stones". either way, good catch. cant hurt to spend 500g to level alchem @ 90 just to have that in addition all the way to 100

What above posters have already said, and I would like to add that 6.1 is introducing Stone of Wind - Item - World of Warcraft which is the alchemy equivalent for the profession 640's.

Yes, there is another item but the point is no other profession has a second 620 item you can wear from level 91..
Anyhow, this is a dead horse, it is what it is. If mods want to move this to a different section, that's their option but I think it's useful for many given how easy alchemy is to level.
Cheers!

This is commonly known from twink guide. twinkinfo.com/forums/f176/
But I guess you deserve some rep.

No matter what, your intention was to contribute, so you decide +Rep. Keep it up!
Btw, you could equip and 5th item, shield ilvl 630-670, as long as you can wear it - as Prot/Holy Pala, Elem/Resto Shammy or Prot Warr.

Pretty sure crafted shields count as 1 master crafted.
P.S. - Thanks for the rep - I wanted to start contributing when I found stuff. It can be difficult since so many would rather flame than be helpful - appreciate the few that notice the effort and +rep it.

Since 6.1, the BS crafted shield have NO Unique Crafted (3) attribute.
Enjoy your ilvl 670 shield on 91 lvl!

Can someone post a list of the 620 master crafted? What else is there other than the alchemist stone

It's only the shield (as of 6.1) and the blue trinket. So technically if you're a tank, you can have 5 OP items at 91. With the new upgrades I'm sure we're going to see some pretty devastating thinks in the 90 to 99 bracket.
