Jysticism is one of a very few people I have met in-game and he was both extremely patient and very helpful. Guilt by association is
a bit feeble-some of my friends in RL have committed serious crimes and gone to prison, I hope no one judges me on that basis.

More generally it should go without saying that you probably shouldn't give any one 60K in-game for anything, even if you trust them
implicitly.
Btw Packet-switching is very high-level stuff and I would imagine scares the crap out of Blizzard (the potential angles here are quite
unbelievable). Use with caution if you want to preserve your account. That said, fantastic post.

Wpe can be used for things you can't imagine, with the proper packet sniffing you can achieve the impossible
Do not use this on retail if you want to keep your account, so try exploits on private servers only

I remember when RAoV was known for genuine exploiting concerning only manipulation of actual game mechanics rather than packet editing using third party software. Good luck avoiding bans with this one! WPE is volatile.

I didn't check what offsets you modified in the packet but isn't it obvious it's just a simple spell id swap?
Anyway, shame on blizzard for letting this one slip by.

Yes bans are a real threat, although so is any exploits posted here. This one just happens to be a game changer and bypass spending a lot of time on your account to gain an unfair advantage which Blizzard is not to fond of. None the less, this is a great exploit to cheat your way out of farming gold.

I'd take the risk, but thats just me. Hope everyone enjoys the exploit, gives us your feedback and let us know its still working.

So how safe is this in terms of getting banned? I messed around with wpe on private servers all the time (years ago). But never have i seen a proper use of wpe on the blizzard servers.
