Easy Fishing Extravaganza Timesaver

High-pop pve realms take about 15 minutes to catch 40 fish with no competition; compared to the extra tactics and time required to win on a low-pop pvp realm, usually taking 20 minutes. No more fighting and bobber blocking:

1. Fish on a high population PvE server. There will be many other fishers, but I found that fishing in the northwest corner was least crowded. Pools spawn all around you as they are fished out by everyone everywhere else. You barely have to move.

2. Once you have 40 fish, have a friend invite you to a PvP server, where the contest takes much longer.

3. Turn in your fish.

I play on a pvp server and had a friend invite me to fish on their mega pve server. I caught 40 fish there that I could have turned in for 2nd place, but instead dropped back to my server for first place. Beat 2nd there by 6 minutes.

Exactly. You fish on a pve realm with higher pool spawns, then turn them in on a different server that hasn't had a winner yet; likely a pvp server. You could hop around checking dozens of servers until you find first place.

What you are saying will not work whatsoever. The winner is based on the realm. You can claim victory only of your home realm, you can't claim a winning spot on any other realm, even if you talk to other realm's npc. However, you can fish schools from different realm as suggested.

The way I can see your idea helpful is especially when your home realm is some heavy pvp one. Then you could transfer to a pve realm where you wouldn't have to fight to the death and after gathering 40 fish hop back to your realm and win.

^Exactly this, except you don't need to hop back to your own server. You can turn it in on the other server and it still count as your server, but people won't get the zone wide message and won't know someone beat them.
