+10% movement speed permanently in PVP

Many gladiators and players above 2k rating on the US ladder have figured this out already; You can enchant Aspirant's boots with Pandaren Step (10 mastery and 10% movement speed). Makes sense right? The boots are ilevel 600 so it's all kosher. The catch is that the enchant does not deactivate when the boots scale up to 660 in PVP. (and stacks additively with the cloak enchant!)

You lose a few stats, but the 10% movement speed is a big deal for some. Supposedly this also works with all other antique enchants, but I have only tested this one myself.

Proof, both with the cloak enchant on, standing in IoC as a priest. Take note of the movement speed (slightly obscured by tooltip)

Yes some clever people may notice I'm not using aspirant's boots (hard to get :'( ) but the principle still applies.

not an exploit, clearly intended. Run speeds stack, and Ive been using this on my shaman to get 150% ghost wolf, with 190% using Unleash Elements

    very useful in pvp

Clearly unintended. There is a reason it says 'unusable on items above ilevel 600' and since the gear scales to an ilevel above 600 in PVP...

I'd say it was intended, it scaled to 650 in pvp but is actually item level 593. The items level doesn't actually change, just shows it as scaled up. Edit: It says it cannot be applied to items above level 600. Once again the item is ilevel 593.

When Heirlooms were first implemented they could be enchanted by a max level character, but the enchants would be deactivated until the character was the appropriate level. (and thus, the item ilevel scaled up) Who is to say that the same principle wasn't intended to be applied in reverse?

I wouldn't be surprised if they hotfix this, as some are using Aspirant boots over Conquest boots.

Arguing semantics is pointless; if you don't think it's an exploit report the thread and ask for it to be moved.

Can't find anyone high up the ladder using this, and I don't see a reason to use this over the conquest boots. It's a loss of 30 ilevels.

The lvl 90 and older enchants are intended to be obsolete and unusable for level 100 content. Lvl 100s (are supposed to) use gear stronger than ilvl 600. Looks like an oversight to me.
    KuRIoS is awesome!
