2) Items like Sylvanas's music box create target spam, useful if you want to hide your toon and/or
confuse players. Laying this stuff down in mass combat situations or when capping flags (how often
do you wish you'd had an extra half-second to cap a flag?). There's a reason a lot of this stuff is
banned from competitive pvp.
3) Anything that produces an object or creature can be potentially shadowstepped or mind visioned.
This can be useful as a free teleport for looking around corners or attacking from hiding places. They
can also be used to access normally inaccessible areas for flag-holding and escapology reasons.
Changes in size are also a staple of walking through walls and so on.
4) Simply changing appearance can be quite effective at duping your opponents. Turning yourself into
an frost dwarf isn't particulary confusing, but if your FC is in frost dwarf form, drops the buff, then you
turn into a frost dwarf, that can misdirect attackers.
5) Sometimes you want your toon to have a larger target area and sometimes you want it to be smaller.
A tank in basic pvp combat needs to be large to absorb damge. When carrying the flag it is better if
they are harder to target. The transformation items help with that. For most classes anything that helps
them get smaller is equivalent to a defensive bonus because of the extra targetting difficulty.
There's a reason twinks use noggenfogger, they know the value of this stuff.
None of these items is exactly gamebreaking, but used correctly they can make a difference to your win rate.
If I was to post something which led to minor dps increase (say 5%) it would get a lot of interest, but
used correctly these tactics amount to more than that.
