If you have the quest "Save Wolf Home - Quest", you can pick up stones from the mobs, that gives you the buff Hunter's Signal - Spell for 60 seconds.

Can be useful at "Proving Grounds" or "Challenge Mode".

Went and did all the quests up to this one to check and I was sorely disappointed.

You cannot LOOT the item, all you do is click a dropped horn from a Thunderlord and it gives you the buff for 60 seconds. I don't see how this could be useful for a raid wide progression, or challenge mode- as you'd have to have everyone near the horn as you click it.(assuming 20 people in your group haven't done the starting quest line which is absurd.)
