100% Trap Success Rate

Not sure if a bug or posted, but thought I'd contribute.

When you upgrade your Barn to level 2 or 3, you get a quest. The quest gives you an improved trap. That trap has a 100% success rate while you are on the quest. The quest also yields you the caged beast each time you use it. So, don't hand in the quest, keep using the item on the mobs for the quest to get 100% traps. I did this in Gorgron for my quest and was able to stock up on a fair amount of cages for work orders.

I've never had a trap fail and I have always had a 100% success rate I don't think there is supposed to be a chance it fails.

You keep the trap even after turning in the quest. Same as the comment above, I've never had a trap fail anyway.

I fail to see any bug or exploit here, its all working as intended. I get a cage everytime i use my trap, and i'm not on any quest for my Barn.

Hmm, then i must be doing somethign wrong. the trap, out of quest, doesn't always work. this method makes sure that it always works.

I think OP is just getting confused because the trap is a bit of an ass to use in the first place so maybe appears to not have a 100% success rate

Mobs have to be 50% or lower and the trap has a spring time. If you keep these things in mind I've never had a trap fail.

Trap has to be in the center of their hitbox and on basically flat ground. Mob under 50% hp. One thing you can do is get 2 traps off 1 mob.

Drop 1 trap in the center under mob and dps it til like 55% and drop 2nd trap in the same spot and put it under 50% and you will get 2 instead of just 1. Since the change to the trap CD this has been possible.
