Superfast 680 ring from legendary quest, skip Apexis farm

Presume it's a bug but currently you can completely ignore the quest Draenor's Secret Power which requires you to collect 4986 Apexis Crystals. You can proceed without completing it and get the 680 ring, also you get the quests for the Chapter II which require raids to be open. It will stay uncompleted.

I suppose they will hotfix it soon so start the legendary and get the 680 ring while you can.

You do the quests which require doing 3 different HC dungeons for 3 different bits and after completing these you'll get new quests which you shouldn't be getting without completing the Apexis Crystal part

again not an exploit and work as intended...You don't need the "farming" of objects before later stages

you can even start to collect ogre stones for chapter 2 already now

The reason I thought it's an exploit was because on wowhead it's listed as a linear questline pretty much and one of the steps is the collection. So either is the wowhead information (official, not guide) about the quest wrong or it's really working as intended.

Why are you on this forum?

This is something that many claim to be working as intended, and if not it's a bug but what are we supposed to do? I mean you just finish the quest, not like we're "exploiting" anything really.

Also if this is something that draws the line for you, then you shouldn't continue on reading this forum, especially this section, because it's a specific category for WoW Exploits.

And Blizzard doesn't just perma ban you for completing a quest, heck they barely perma ban you for anything, unless something major.

This is intended, not an exploit, the apexis crystals quest is for a later part in the quest-chain when you enchant the legendary effect on the ring.
