Stay phased to leader's realm after leaving group.

I discovered this while accidentally queueing for celestials in the new premade finder. Right after accepting the invite I greater invisd and left the party, but I stayed on the party leader's realm. No, I was not in combat. I actually couldn't figure out how to get back to my realm for a second. I even ported to shrine and stormpeaks, still on their realm. Only joining or starting another group ported me back to my own realm.

It seems like if you leave during the time it takes to load the realm youre transferring to, then you'll stick on that realm despite not being grouped. Spamming spells during the load time also might help. I'm not having 100% success with replication, but a very high amount. I've been on half a dozen different servers so far and can change zones without changing realm. It has worked with both raids and parties. every group I've joined though has been on timeless isles.

I know there are other methods of manipulating xrealm stuff, hope this isn't a repost.

Edit: after further testing, using the macro /script LeaveParty() and pressing it after my frames from the group popped up but before the people around me phased out helped make this more consistent.

Anyone can confirm this? EU just went down for an hour maintenance.

Would help a lot with rare farming especially early in the morning, when most groups are just rep/frog farming groups, and when you need to stay longer then 30 seconds(usually the time they notice you're using their realm and they kick you) like farming multiple rares or whatnot.

Also I take it that it only works as Mage? Or could invisibility potion work?

Its just extreme mix of your latency and wow's datacenters, happens rather randomly and fixes itself. If you can 100% replicate this, that would be neat though.

I can confirm this works. I've known about this for almost 2 months and have been using it to farm on low pop realms. +rep to OP. I wasnt going to share this personally " i like being able to farm in peace, guess the cat's outta the bag ".

Oh this would be amazing for WoD. Get phased to empty servers, I think there is still some that aren't connected with any other realms - then mine / herb the shit out of that place. The gains!

its what i intend to do, i currently run ReBot a free bot i found with a gathering profile for herbs and ore... this is how i do it get phased to a shitty low pop realm turn it on and leave it on all night. example i mined a little over 2.247 ghost iron ore in a periode of 8hrs.

Does he need to be lv 90 for you to get to his server? What if he is like 70 ?

First of what are you talking about potion " gerger " and 2ndly there have been findings that you can be pulled to another person realm reguardless of level. But from what ive seen a lvl 90 must invite said person to their realm. in order to pull you over. simply leave group before your completely pulled to their realm which will cause you to remain on their realm. til you log out or for another group with someone from your original realm.

I should probably make my own post for this but since you've made one already... I found another method of doing this the other day whilst exploring the Darkmoon Faire. It required some CRZ blocking and such, using peerblock to block the zone you're in but if you go to someone elses realm, activate peerblock to block your zone, then leave the group, it cannot put you back to your original realm and will fail each time it tries.

I got this to work last night, but im having trouble doing it now. Any tips on how to get this easier? I've been joining the party on a pve realm and then leaving with the leave group very quickly.

All it does it put me back on my realm and then unflag me for pvp, which is nice, but it flags me if i change areas.

I'd have to test more to really figure it out. I did have the most success with this when I was at shrine though. Maybe doing this in populated places increases the lag/amount of stuff to load and will increase your chances of it working.
