Hop onto the carousel in the darkmoon faire and get the WHEE!(WHEE! - Spell - World of Warcraft) buff 1 hour. Then port to org and go to the dark portal and log-out until wod release.
The buff stays when you logout at 1 hour. Meaning you can get the 1 hour buff for the starting zones and get to gorgond faster to get ahead of the pack of people. I don't know if it will disappear after the darkmoon.

The last day of darkmoon is next sunday so you only have to logout for monday, tuesday, wedsnday for the character you want to level with.

Actualy , i tested this on my 85 shaman that i had , and the buff was on for more than 10 months , i loged few times on it and it didnt disapeared .. to bad i dont have pictures to prove it , i leveled him 1 week ago.

I'm 100% sure that you lose the buff from the hats and the hats you have in your bags. Not really sure about carousel buff...

I've had abandoned toons with the DMF buff, Spirit of Sharing buff, and Unburdened Buff all at the same time. Lazy me didn't even take advantage of it, though.

The buff does not go away when the fair ends, just like the Hallow's End, Fire Festival, etc. The timer only runs out on them while you are logged in, if you log out you can log back on six months later and still have them. Not really an exploit though since this is working as intended, more of a guide I think.

Even if the buff would persist, do you really think you will get to level the first hour? You must be new to the game, or at least never have seen an expansion releasing. It will take 1 hour just to complete the first quest, not counting all dc's and world server crashes.

Hallow's End Buff stayed after the Event on my Wiz. 2h 10% more XP. 4-5 Level with 10% Buff and the 25 Daily Quests at the Start of WoD with that Buff. So you can get 40% with the Flask. 10%+10%+20%

I was fine in at the start of mop. Probably depends on server.
